Sharing a healthy, on-the-go, 60 second breakfast idea with you guys on this fine Sunday. Because sometimes you just don’t have time to break out the pan and serve up a hot one.
I don’t know what made me think of Wasa crackers the other day but I remembered that I used to eat them in college. They carry so many different kinds like sour dough, light rye, sesame, flaxseed, and gluten-free but for this recipe (if you can even call it a recipe) I used the multi-grain option. Superrrrr crunchy.
One cracker has just 45 calories, 11g carbs, 2g fiber, and 2g protein. I top mine with almond butter, chia seeds, a few banana slices, and a drizzle of honey for an all around hearty snack or meal when you need fuel but are slim on prep time. You could definitely get creative with these – think: yogurt and berries, bruschetta, Laughing Cow cheese and turkey. The ideas are practically endless.
That’s all for today friends. I’ve been flying under the radar this weekend working hard on holiday content and Josh and I spent Friday night at Nemacolin. Keep an eye out for HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDES!
