Goin’ Green

Now that it’s Spring and the fruit is more in season, I love a good smoothie for breakfast. I try to make the “green” smoothies to help me get in my servings of veggies for the day.
Above is a Strawberry Banana Spinach smoothie.
Ingredients:
4 ice cubes
1/4-1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
4-6 strawberries
1 banana
1 cup (or more) baby spinach leaves
1 tbsp chia seeds
Coconut flakes for the rim
(Sometimes I add a scoop of peanut butter to this smoothie)
Blend all ingredients together in a blender. I lined the rim in coconut flakes and sprinkled some on top of the smoothie for some extra flavor and to make it pretty.
