Things we got for baby #2 that we didn’t have the first time around 🤍
🧸 @medela manual pump – grabbed this for quick relief, car situations etc. when I don’t want to deal with a full setup. I’ve heard so many good things and every second-time mom says they don’t know how they lived without it the first time !!
🧸 @nanit parent unit – now that we have 2 Nanits, we liked the idea of the split screen & think it will be more convenient for babysitters + not having to rely on our phones 24/7.
🧸 @wishgardenherbs AfterEase — I’ve heard cramping can be more of a thing after your first???? (I didn’t experience it with Demi but someone lmk how bad it is) so I wanted to have this JIC.
🧸 @eufybaby S1 wearable breast pump - got these through my insurance and I’m excited about them because they consistently popped up during my research. I used my last set constantlyyyy… at home, doing dishes, laundry, commuting, at work… !! IDK how anyone survives without them.
🧸 @mabecarriers – I didn’t really use a carrier much the first time but with a toddler this feels essential. I have some other options from when Demi was little but this one is highly rated (and so cute) !!
🧸 @momcozy bottle washer + sterilizer – something I never had with my first but already know will save so much time. I love that it does it all in one swing —having a dishwasher is just not the same when it comes to keeping bottles, pump parts, pacifiers, & syringes on constant rotation.
Calling all mamas !! 📢💕 Tell me everythinggg — what made the transition to baby #2 smoother for you, your first baby, and your whole family? I’ll take all the tips ✨

First bump pic I’ve taken this pregnancy🤰🏻🫣🥴 Feeling pretty good nearing the end of my 2nd trimester !! I can’t really complain other than the early aches & pains 🩵
Setting the table for our tiniest Valentine 💕🍕Heart shaped pizza night called for a cute theme ❣️ Type ‘PARTY’ for the plates and some of the other decor I found !!
Making little moments special is my favorite part about being a mom 💘 First trip to the dentist with Demi was a success — she was PUMPED & couldn’t wait to go (also loves going to the doctors?!) 🪥🦷
A cozy little snow day at home was just what was needed ❄️🕯️ Josh grabbed me a bottle of non alcoholic wine & it wasn’t too bad. NGL I’m kind of really missing having a glass of red at this time of year (lmk if you have any favorite brands) 🤰🏼🤰🏼🌨️
For the first 22 years of my life, I completely neglected my face. 80% of the time I would sleep in a full face of makeup. Granted, I never had any skin problems, so I thought it was fine to maltreat my dome-piece.
Within the past year, I started to pay more attention (more-so obsess over) the subtle “laugh lines” in the corners of my eyes, the natural creases in my forehead, and the ring lines on my neck. I slowly became a skin care product fanatic. Now I know I sound crazy because I’m only 23 BUT we are 1 day older than we were yesterday and its never too early to start preventing aging!!
There are some products I stay loyal to, but most of the time I love trying new ones. On the regular, I use my Clarisonic with their Refreshing Gel Cleanser. After any washing, I always, always, always moisturize! Apparently moisturizing and using SPF are the best ways to prevent ageing. Currently, I use Fresh: Lotus Youth Preserve face cream. I love the texture and I love the clean smell. At least 1-2x a day I also slab some Bliss: Thinny Thin Chin Neck Firming Cream on.
I try to dedicate 1 day a week to do some type of “treatment” or mask. My newest obsession, and what I used this morning, is the ever so fabulous Glam Glow: Supermud Clearing Treatment. I purchased mine at Sephora. I left it on for about 15 minutes and could literally see the mud changing colors while unclogging my pores. After I washed it off, it left my skin feeling SO crazy smooth and clean. My pores are barely visible after I use this mask. You can use this mud as a full face mask or as a spot treatment. Certainly leaves you feeling and looking GLAM!
